<p>Here is an EXQUISITE S.E. Shires Custom Alto Trombone. The Shires company built their reputaiton on their fine, handcrafted trombones, and this is a marvelous example of a custom alto trombone. I played this instrument and wanted to keep it for myself-this is the only alto trombone I've ever played that I thought was better than my Elkhart Conn 35H. This instrument is incredibly responsive and free blowing, with a clean upper register that is pure but not pinched. The in-slide tuning allows the bell to expand throughout its full length for a free-blowing feel and the Bb trigger is perfect for Deutsches Requiem when you'd otherwise be playing all those 7th position As. Perfect for your romantic symphonies or Mozart church music. Here are the specs for this particular instrument:

We purchased this instrument directly from the manufacturer and have just serviced it in our shop. It has only seen extremely light use as a demo or display model. In superb condition and ready to play!
