This is a TERRIFIC Keilwerth SX-90R alto saxophone. Ever since they started making the Couf Superbas, Keilwerth has been a serious competitor to the modern French and Japanese saxophones. These are really wonderful horns. Tone quality is rich in color, ergonomics are excellent, and intonation is spot on. This model features rolled tone holes for better sealing and intensified tone. This particular one is in excellent condition. Original lacquer finish is 90% present, with minor wear from honest use. There are no dents and no signs that the horn has ever been seriously damaged. Pads and action are excellent and have just been adjusted. Takes a lot of air and has a bold, dark, sound. This horn is ready to take to the gig and plays GREAT.
