Here's a VERY FINE Puchner bassoon. This instrument was made at the Puchner factory in the 1950s or 1960s, judging from the stamp Made in Western Germany. It is a very fine professional instrument. The wood is select maple and has never been cracked or gouged. This instrument has jsut had a complete rebuild in our shop and great as is. This is an exceptional professional bassoon for less than the cost of an intermediate Fox.
