This is an EXCELLENT Leblanc 'Semi-Rationale' professional alto saxophone. WOW! While not an extremely well-known vintage sax, the Leblanc has a solid core group of ardent fans. This model featured revolutionary keywork and a big robust sound that couldn't be matched by the other French instruments of its day. This particular one is in excellent condition. Silver plate is original and about 95% present. This instrument has just had a complete overhaul in the shop and is ready to play!
