This is a gorgeous Getzen Custom model 3047 AF trombone with the much-vaunted Thayer valve. The Getzen Custom trombones are some of the best symphonic instruments on the market. They play with a full, direct sound that has a lot of core but is still easy to control. This one is in excellent condition. Original lacquer is 99%, with no wear I can see. Thayer valve works great. Slide (see photo) shows no wear at the stocking and is excellent-very fast with no catching or dings. Includes one removable leadpipe. Plays great! Includes original case.
