<p>This is a VERY NICE Fox Renard Model 222D bassoon. Fox is the best American maker of bassoons and oboes, and the 222 is a mainstay of the Renard line. Fox's manufacturing is excellent. Intonation is very good, action feels good, and these bassoons sound good enough to play in a youth, civic, or college orchestra. The serial number places the year of manufacture at XXXX.</p>
