Here is a FANTASTIC Fossati Model J10 intermediate model oboe. Fossati has been one of the finest makers of oboes in the world for decades and their J10 model is a great choice for the developing oboist. The Tiery J oboe is a streamlined tool, allowing steady progress in both technique and musicality without the necessity of upgrading instruments. Its easy response, tone color and stable tuning make it the choice of many professors as an excellent student instrument. This model features a composite upper joint to eliminate upper joint cracking that plagues wood oboes, and the left hand F key and 3rd octave key which are essential to a developing oboist's tutelage. This particular instrument is in mint condition - it is one of a few that were displayed at oboe product shows and has had very little playing time. Horn is completely like new and ready to play. We purchased this instrument directly from the manufacturer and have just serviced it in our shop. It has only seen extremely light use as a demo or display model. In superb condition and ready to play!
