The C180SL229W30 features a #229 one-piece hand-hammered professional bell that produces a big, rich, slightly broader sound with great projection. The #25H leadpipe, modeled after the leadpipe preferred by Adolf Herseth, provides a big, fat sound, and takes a lot of air! The silver-plate finish provides a controlled brilliance to the overall sound. These features, combined with a .462 large bore allow the player to produce a well-rounded sound well suited for all orchestral literature.
