This is a terrific Mount Vernon Bach Stradivarius model 37 professional cornet. Bach has produced some of the best instruments in the world, and the instruments produced at the Mount Vernon plant are legendary. Big, dark sound, excellent intonation and playing characteristics make the Bach Strad a force to be reckoned with in the flugelhorn arena. This particular one is in very good condition. Original lacquer is about 80% present and looks good. There is a tiny crack in the bell rim (see pics). Valves (see photo) are very good and show very little wear. Horn plays great!
