<p>The Conn 6DK is a double horn that replaces the old model 6D, replacing the original Kruspe-like wrap with the true Kruspe wrap used on the 8D. The combination makes for an excellent small throat horn better able to be handled by smaller hands. It also makes for a fantastic small bore professional horn. The Conn 6D is known to be a well-suited instrument for all skill levels, from beginners to professionals. It has a beautifully rich and clear sound and is often praised for its ease of play. It is about 25% lighter than the Conn 8D, making it easier to handle. The Conn 6D is an excellent choice for students who are ready to move up to their first double horn. Its leadpipe offers a comfortable level of breath resistance, its 0.468-inch bore exhibits a brilliant, focused sound, and its Kruspe wrap delivers an open, dark sound with a rock-solid tonal center. </p>
