This is a very good King model 2B valve trombone with slide attachment. The King 2B is one of the finest trombones in its size class (..481/.491 dual bore) ever made. These instruments feel like a small bore horn but put out the sound when it counts, with a full, rich tone that gets big and expansive when you need it. This particular horn is in excellent condition. This instrument includes both the slide and valve section so it can be played as either a valve trombone or a slide trombone, but the valve section is clearly more recent than the rest of the trombone, as it bears serial number 856639 . Condition is excellent. The original slide trombone shows some wear (see pics), but the valve set is in great shape. It has just been serviced in our shop and is ready to play.
