<p>The ideal bass clarinet for a developing player, this horn is a great playing, great sounding horn for a player on a budget. Expertly engineered to not only sound fantastic but also to stand up to the worst a "real" band room situation can present, the American made Selmer 1430LP has been the first choice of music educators for generations. The body tube of the Selmer 1430LP is made from Selmer Resonite™ composite. This highly resonant material is reamed, drilled, and undercut by digitally calibrated and computer-controlled machinery in Elkhart, Indiana to ensure ideal response and excellent intonation. Easier to use, the single piece body and low Eb on the 1430LP body tube mean no keys extended over joints. </p>
